Nix Night

Nix leaned back against the ground behind her, feeling the mat she had made of leaves and tree branches keeping her back cool and her pillow, which was really just her backpack full of items, was soft behind her head. The breeze blew past her and she sighed, closing her eyes and listening to the forest she was camping in for the moment, hearing birds moving around the trees and even the branches of the trees creaking in the wind a little. She could just make out some very heavy footsteps away to her right, but Minx had been there when she woke up this morning and waited until Nix herself was awake before she went off hunting. "Small bits of progress" she chuckled to herself, considering she was alone and now her freind was off hunting for however long she was going to be away, she might end up on her own for a fair while. She didn't mind of course, slowly opening her eyes, she noted she was so used to being on her own that actually being around people was the thing she was really out of touch with. nosa

Nosa was sent on a mission by the elders, she was trusted to do this mission for the elders.
Nosa carried a spear as she left ready for her hunting trip to provide for her tribe and herself, she walked with purpose to the hunting grounds.

She was dressed in her warmest clothing as she travelled. Nosa was following a track carefully, yet something caught her attention as she followed the track.
The warrior looked at the woman for a moment.

'Is this the one I am looking for?'

She was told some information about the one she tracked.

" I'm a Nosa from the northern water tribe, I was told a lot about you."

Nix Night

Nix twitched as she heard a noise she had not heard before, her eyes beginning to scan the treetops around her and then she lowered her arms so she could push her elbows in to the ground below her and prop herself up to look around. She scanned the world around her, not making out much but as she pushed herself up so she was sitting, she realized the steps were lighter than Minx's and coming towards her quickly. Turning sharply, she pulled her dagger from her belt and flexed the fingers on her other hand, though she chose not to reveal her other skills in case she didnt know what she was coming up against. Looking to the voice as they spoke, she found her eyes falling on a woman who was a little older than her and seemingly, someone who shared her kin. "Nose? Weird name...." she commented, her tone trying to be playful as she lowered her empty hand to the ground and used it to push herself up to her feet. "What were you told? Why are you here?" she asked, adding the second question as she noted the first didnt really expect much. nosa

Nosa had heard mixed things but frowned when the other woman couldn't even get her named right, so she swung her spear to the ground in an agitated manner and held it fiercely.

"NOSA!", she snapped

She hated beign disrespected by anyone and the other woman getting her name wrong was the biggest insult to her.

Yet she looked into the the other woman's eyes with a firece determination.

"I was told a few things by different people you had potential but fled, you have a rear animal people are worried about, you were a trouble maker." Nosa explained softly

The water tribe warrior held her spear as she eyed up the woman.

"I was sent to investigate you, maybe take you back to the tribe if I have to."

Nix Night

Several things all happened at once, the other woman shouted at her and she also swung her weapon the same movement, nix herself was very quick to grab her own from where it had been resting a little limply and she flicked it around so that it was in front of her. Shoulder that spear rise up and come towards her, her dagger was in exactly the right place to deflect it and send it spinning to the side, but it seemed that was not the purpose of the movement. Merely, intimidation, it seemed. "Sorry, its not a name i know" the redhead reply in a wary voice, moving her eyes over the other woman as she spoke and slowly narrowing her gaze more and more. "Depends who you ask, i was raised by more families that i have fingers and toes. I wasn't always treated well and was very often bullied and ridiculed. Sound like the life of someone wanting to behave? What do you mean "rear animal"? Minx is my freind, she was the one person i had in that blasted tribe and im not going back" the younger woman snapped, her tone very quickly becoming very defensive. nosa

Nosa held her spear still as she looked at the other woman fiercely, the red haired woman said she had not heard of her and Nosa scoffed a bit.

Nosa thought that maybe she should work harder to make her name more known.
Yet the red haired woman began to give some explanations of her life. Nosa tilted her head a bit when the other woman said she was raised by lots of family and Nosa kept her option to herself as she kept a stern expression on her face.

“I don’t know anything about your animal, I was just told it was rear.” Nosa replied strongly

“You had a tough life, I understand that.”

Nosa lifted her spear over her shoulder again.

“However it is what you make of your life now that is important.”


Could Nosa make the woman go back to the tribe, she could do it but she didn't have the heart to really.

Nix looked down to the spear pointed at her chest and she glared at it, as if that would in some way help her, but she moved her eyes back to the other woman when she spoke again. "Well maybe dont go telling people you are gonna drag them around to where ever if you dont know anything about them or those close to em...." she snapped, matching the strong tone of the other woman with a small sneer growing over her face as she went on. Nix didnt like the stern look on the face of the other woman, she knew it too well for one of the face of her teachers, trainer, even her foster parents. As the spear moved away from her, nix shifted her stance so she was still holding her dagger and holding it out, but she wasnt quite so ready to bat away something had now moved. "I know that, i knew that before they wanted to force me in to fight some war thats nothing to do with me and i'll do as i please, no matter what they want of me" she snapped back, her tone still aggressive and her words still sharp as she replied. nosa
