Combustion
Ability Name: Combustion
Required Skill: Firebending at Rank 2 or higher.
Description: Some firebenders are trained in a special form of bending commonly referred to as 'Combustionbending' or simply 'Combustion'. The user of this bending form wears a third-eye tattoo on their forehead, which allows them to focus their power at a single point. The user can produce a condensed beam of invisible flame which can travel quite a distance, and explode upon contact with a physical object. The explosion's force is quite significant, making most other firebending techniques pale in comparison.
Combustion attacks scale with one's Firebending rank +1 at all times, meaning their rank 2 firebending attacks are actually rank 3 combustion attacks. Using combustion prevents a firebender from making regular firebending attacks upon gaining the ability. At rank 4 and 5 of the firebending skill, character's with combustionbending can correct the course of the condensed beams, as seen by P'Li in Legend of Korra.
