Water Tribe
Description: The Water Tribe is a collection of tribal folk from the North and South poles, as well as a small portion of them who immigrated to the Great Swamp. The Water Tribe uses a classic tribal system of government, where a chieftain and his heirs are elected ruler of the tribe, but are tempered by a council of elders who specialize in different areas. Traditionally, warrior and bending roles have been exclusive to male members of the tribe, but recent years have changed tradition. With the death of Master Paku, who was the tribe's greatest waterbender and trainer, there has been a large void in the 'experienced waterbenders' department. Despite this setback, the Water Tribe has rallied most of it's military forces to the North, and has begun a large non-bender recruitment and training effort to fill the void in their waterbenders.
