A Heated Discussion [Open]

[Hongo]

Though the actual war between the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom had ended many years ago, many things were left unresolved. Soldiers from the colonies, and the last battle against Ozai, were largely captured or killed. The least lucky among the captives were sent to Boiling Rock, the world's most notorious prison, even by Earth Kingdom standards. For over thirty years, the same prisoners of war were forced to labor there. These were no ordinary men, they were Earth Kingdom born and bred. Finally, their kingdom would arrive to see them liberated.

A skinny man, yet tall in stature, captain Bakoo was sent to negotiate with the prison's warden. Their war had ended many years ago, and it was time for the Earth Kingdom to reclaim it's lost veterans. Hango, along with a dozen other members of the Terra Team, were assigned to guard the captain.

The small band of soldiers would approach the mountainous prison by ship, an iron galleon to be precise.  Hango stood behind the captain, listening to the man ramble about how easy this should be. "Bah! The war was so long ago, I bet we won't even need the ransom money. The Fire Nation would be foolish to deny our request." With crossed arms, the young soldier would interject "From what I remember, the Fire Nation is stubborn. They're angered by peace. I doubt this operation will go as smoothly as you claim. Either way, it's our duty to guard you."

With his peace said, Hango would place a circular hat atop his head, and lean back against the ship's rail. Captain Bakoo would scoff at the earthbender's claim, "Young, inexperienced. You'll see. They will return them."

Before long, their ship would reach the view of a Fire Nation watchtower. One of the ship's flags would unveil into a long green fabric, and the captain would announce "I am Captain Bakoo of Ba Sing Se, and representative of the Earth Kingdom! My men and I have come to negotiate the release of several prisoners, we are scheduled to meet the warden."

Kohi knew tensions were high in the four nations, of course she wanted to do what she could to try to lessen the tensions but it was a hard and maybe almost impossible process as it was impossible to know where to start at time.

She felt a bit overwhelmed by her assignments at times, today she was sent to a well known prison, the fire bender woman did not like that she was sent to this prison of all places, it was creepy but she had come for reasons.

However before she had a chance to discuss her business with the people at the prison words caught her attention.

She saw the flag and stepped back a bit nervous as she wasn’t a fighter she was more a talker.
Still Kohi was a politician and she could talk to these people. She looked at the warden a bit.

“I can help with these negotiations and after that we can get down to business.”

There was more to her visit then what it seemed, so she followed the Warden as they approached the men.

“Greetings, I am Kohi. I will help with these negationations. "

[Hongo]

The Fire Nation was quick to reply, with various guards in the tower calling over both the warden, and their special guest. It wasn't every day a member of nobility showed their faces after all. A short and stout man in a crimson robe would reveal himself from the gates of the prison entrance. This man was clearly Warden Jin, a very important man by Fire Nation standards. The Earth Kingdom captain would address the man, "Hail Warden! We have come to discuss terms..."

The old warden would ware a frown on his face, raising a hand to the gate operators. Within a matter of moments, the crew of solders were granted access to the prison. Hongo himself was a little uneased by the man's shady hand gesture, but the man he guarded seemed satisfied. "See, what did I tell you. Nice and easy." the young man shrugged in opposition, "We'll see I guess..."

While their boat was busy pulling into the inner docks of the facility, the warden decided to address the woman of high standing.

OOC: I'll let you play important Fire Nation characters, like the warden, since you're actually Fire Nation.

[Kohi]

Kohi followed Warden Jin, the Warden mumbled to himself a bit as she walked with purpose as his  female guest followed, of course even he wondered how someone who seemed so meek could help with this delicate situation.

“So how can you help Kohi ?”

Kohi giggle a bit as she wasn’t expecting the warden to know her or her standing, it not like everyone knew each other.

“ I am a poltication Warden.”

Still they give an respectful bow to their guest

“Captain Bakoo, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Warden Jin and this is Kohi. We will discuss your request.” Warden Jin explained

“You should all make yourself comfortable, so you came to discuss prisoner releases.” Kohi added gently

The Earth Kingdom ship would dock itself against the rocky shores of the prison. Hongo, along with the rest of the Terra Team, would enter the horse stance before all making an upward motion with their arms. A bridge of solid earth would pull itself from the shore, and to the side of the ship, creating a makeshift bridge. Captain Bakoo would walk with both arms behind his back, descending down from the bridge as the warden seemingly addressed their crew from above. "Yes. It is a pleasure warden, and you as well my lady. My men and I will be up shortly."

Hongo could tell the captain was being a bit cocky, but went along with his superior's requests for now. This Fire nation noble on the other hand seemed like an odd person to show up to an event such as this. Maybe this was some sort of training for her? That much was to be determined.

To ascend to the warden's position, the Earth Kingdom's captain and his entourage would take a metal lift directly to the man. As the group of soldiers unloaded, they would hear Kohi's introduction. "Very well." Hongo would say with a suspicious look.

The soldiers, along with their captain would all take seats around a long metal table. Captain Bakoo would remark, "You're a kind host warden, and hopefully an understanding man. I'm sure you already know what this discussion is going to be about."

Kohi was glad to be acknowledged by the Earth Kingdom men, she thought the meeting would be a bit more pravite but dealing with Earth Kingdom men night make things more difficult.

If things went atray in the meeting she must not be be much help, she was meek and passive as she was raised as such.

Still she followed the Warden until they reached there destination.

The Warden smiled he got comfortable as did Kohi.

"Yes I am awear of what we are discussion here today." The Warden explained

" Should we wait for you men to arrive before we begin?" Kohi asked softly
