Skill Name: Lightning Generation
Parent Skill: Firebending
Description: Lightning Generation is an offshoot of traditionally firebending, reserved for only the most elite firebenders to learn. With this technique, the user can produce powerful bolts of electricity which prove to be the most devastating single-target attack in the bending world. Before a firebender can even attempt to learn Lightning Generation, they must be at least an Expert in firebending. Further more, lightning only has three skill ranks to it, representing the limited scope and raw power of the technique. Increasing your rank with this skill costs double what it normally would. Taking a direct lightning attack from an Experienced or Veteran lightning generator will usually result in death or a near death experience. Lightning Attacks have a one post cooldown after use.

Skill Ranks:

• Rank 1 (Rookie). At the Rookie level, a bender is just learning the basics of lightning generation. They can only produce short jolts of lightning, which move at high speeds and deal nearly fatal damage when unblocked, but can be blocked by physical objects with little challenge. (Considered to be a Rank 2 attack)
  
  
• Rank 2 (Experienced). An experienced practitioner of lightning generation can produce quicker and longer streams of electricity which can kill a vast majority of people. (Considered to be a Rank 4 attack)
  
  
• Rank 3 (Veteran). A veteran of lightning generation can produce the most fast and powerful bolts of lightning seen, on par with even the former phoenix king. (Considered to be a Rank 6 attack)
